Ubud is the centre of Bali, rich of culture and many activities. You can visit the flamboyant house of Blanco Antonio, now a museum. He is the Dali of Bali, died in 1999.

Around Ubud  temples, ancient sites en whole villages producing handicrafts are located. Many  little shops are established in the centre of Ubud even as a lot of restaurants where you find the best food of the island.
From Ubud you can make long walks or bike rides through the rice paddies.
